Construction:
Our scrapers consist of 3 main parts.
The main body in which the spring mounted blades are located and
the two sub ends. The sub ends are tightened to the body by flush
joint connections. The scraper blades and bodies are produced in
accordance with ASTM A148/1248-90 standards. Grade 130-115 with
BHN 269-302. The sub ends are machined out of 4140 or 4145 bar stock.
Performance
Features:
Total ID Coverage
The blades are spring mounted to insure positive contact with the
casing wall and staggered for 360 degree coverage.
Longer Working
Life
The scraping edges of the blades are hard-faced for maximum
strength and durability.
Rotating
or Reciprocating
The M&M Scraper works equally effective in either manner. Our
scraper is often used in conjunction with a bit for drilling out
cement. When used in this manner, the scraper will remove cement
slag from the casing wall that is often missed by the bit.
M&M Casing
Scrapers are now being used in most oil producing countries worldwide
and is fast becoming the scraper of choice.
